I always had my problems to warm up with Astrology, and hadn't I constantly stumbled upon it in my Tarot studies, I probably never would have cared about it.
However, I needed to care at least for the Zodiac signs, the same way I looked at the Planets, and thus the oddity started. Exploring the Zodiac signs from their historical roots led me to rather unexpected results pretty much at odds with general opinion.

So, if you are looking for some introduction into common Astrology you'll better look elsewhere for a source.
